57 policy

57 is a non-smoking hotel, 100% smoke-free hotel including all of it’s public area. Should you choose to smoke in your non-smoking room, a $330 fee will be charged to your account for cleaning of textiles and room deodorising. Any damages to furniture, fixtures and textiles in the room, will also incur a $330 cleaning charge.

Regrettably, pets are not permitted on the premises.

We wish to advise a 2.5% surcharge applies for all Visa & Mastercard credit card transactions. American Express Credit Cards will incur a 3% surcharge.
57 Hotel accepts American Express, Eftpos, MasterCard, Visa and Union Pay.

Party policy

‘No Parties’. Our intent, as an accommodation provider, is for all of our guests to enjoy the comfort and facilities we offer. Our ‘No Party’ policy is strictly enforced. Our rooms are to be used for accommodation. The hosting of visitors in the room is only to be undertaken when this is reasonably incidental to the registered guest’s use of the room as their place of accommodation. Rooms are not to be used as venues for functions or events which may cause unreasonable disturbance to others.

57 Hotel management may evict a guest or visitor, should conditions warrant. Physical abuse towards staff, residents, other guests or security personnel will result in eviction. Any person[s], who 57 Hotel staff reasonably believe to be creating excessive noise or having a party will be warned by management to cease immediately  if this request is ignored then eviction will happen without refund.

Damages and charges

Every registered guest is personally liable for all charges incurred during their stay and if the person, company or association indicated by them as being responsible for the payment of same does not do so, that the registered guest’s liability for such payment shall be joint and several with such person, company or association.  Every registered guest remains liable for any damages to the room or property therein, or any discrepancies incurred during their stay, due to the actions of themselves or their guests.

In the event of foregoing, the registered guest gives 57 Hotel the authority to charge the registered guests credit card for any losses incurred by 57 Hotel. In the event of any such circumstances and charges, 57 Hotel will post a copy of the registered guests account detailing such charges, with a copy of the credit card transaction to the address supplied on registration.

To provide you with the best, we supply the best. 57 Hotel supplies in room i-pads, in the event that an I-pad is damaged or disappears during a stay the registered guest will be charged $360.00 for a replacement.  Any damage to televisions is replacement cost of $360. Our King Rooms have designer pillows, the cost of damage and or replacement of one of these pillows is $150.00. Damage to any other in room items (not yet mentioned) will incur a replacement charge. The loss or damage of a gym access token is $50.00.

Guarantee Policy:

A valid credit card is required to guarantee this reservation. The first nights’ accommodation amount will be charged to the credit card provided, 24 hours prior to arrival. 

Check In Policy:

On arrival, you must provide a valid driver’s licence or passport as identification. For payments that will be made by a debit/credit card, a hold will be placed on your card for the full amount anticipated to be owed to the hotel, including a $100 for incidentals. The hold may not be released for 72 hours from the date of check-out or longer at the discretion of your card issuer.

Payment Policy:

57 Hotel accepts MasterCards, Visa and American Express. Payments made by credit cards will incur a 2.5% surcharge. Guests may wish to charge their payment to Eftpos or Cash on departure to avoid fees.

Cancellation Policy:

If you wish to cancel, please do so up to 2:00PM 1 day prior to arrival to avoid cancellation penalties.

If cancelled or modified later or in case of a No Show, the first nights’ accommodation amount will be charged.

At check-in, the front desk will verify your check-out date. Rates quoted are based on check-in date and length of stay. Should you choose to depart early, price is subject to change and penalties may occur.

We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under any other circumstances where it appears that the reservation contains or resulted from a mistake or error.

Non-Refundable Policy:

Reservations that are non-refundable cannot be cancelled without incurring the total cost of the booking. The credit card provided at the time of booking will be charged the full amount immediately. Please check the cancellation policy advertised with your room rate purchased.

New Year’s Period Policy:

Reservations that fall over the New Year period (31/12/2016) are non-refundable cannot be cancelled without incurring the total cost of the booking. The credit card provided at the time of booking will be charged the full amount immediately. If you do not arrive, your room will be released after the first night and the full payment of the entire stay will still be charged.

In the event of any such circumstances and charges, 57 Hotel will post a copy of the registered guests account detailing such charges, with a copy of the credit card transaction to the address supplied on registration.
